Who's writing and why

Hi — this is a personal notebook. I work with backend systems during the day and keep a small home lab at night: a couple of mini PCs, a NAS that is older than it should be, and a tiny VPS that runs the boring glue.

I started writing things down after fixing the same problem twice and not remembering how I did it the first time. If a note here saves you twenty minutes, that's a good outcome.
